I think Horseshoe is a good choice. Hopefully you are planning for BD 2007; not 2006 since that has passed. However, the hotels linked to the casinos in Shreveport/Bossier city are relatively small and tough to get into on weekends. You might want to pick a better hotel/spa, then drive to casinos. Not too hard to get around in Shreveport.
