Wow, I just love … Wow, I just love everything I hear by Tokyo Jihen and Shiina. First time watching thie particular video and wow….just…that’s how bands should be, all the pieces fitting together into something that can only be described as amazing.
I love how the “new … I love how the “new” guitarist and keyboardist take on vocal duties in this incarnation of Tokyo Jihen. It makes it seem more like a band effort instead of just a Shiina Ringo vehicle. But even sharing the vocal spotlight, it’s clear that Shiina Ringo commands the stage.
I think everyone … I think everyone needs to shut up about how the new album sucks, etc etc. Shiina didn’t compose much if at all on variety, that’s why it sounds different, and there is nothing wrong with the sound, it’s not as brilliant as shiina’s stuff, but it’s still good and much better then most of the crap in the mainstream.
