Where should I take my best friend who is turning 30yrs for her birthday within Victoria so I can spoil her?

I have known her since she was 3yrs old and I’d love to take her somewhere that she wouldn’t normally take herself. She loves bushwalking, spa packages and fine food and wine. We both live in Melbourne and I’m willing to drive somewhere.

Dayelsford/Hepburn Springs- I go there whenever I need to re-charge. There are plenty of accomodation/spa package options. Plus there is a great range of local food and win on offer.

a surprise dinner with lots of friends. Then head to a bar/club. A bottle of good wine as gift. I’m from LA/OC area so there’s tons of things to do. oh doing something that reminds you both when on your early 20′s like having lunch by the old university or that little whole on the wall bar.

Macedon Spa, brand new, really luxurious. My inlaws went there (a present from us) and they absolutely loved it!

I wish someone would take me for a hot-air balloon ride at dawn… Then drive to one of those swish restaurants in the wine-growing region of the Yarra Valley for lunch!

The daylesford area is very popular, but maybe try marysville, as its beautiful, quiet, and has several nice places to stay and good bushwalking and food. Plus, its not far from the yarra valley. Or the mornington peninsula has all the things you have listed. You just might have to pay more.

depending on how much you want to spend on her, you could go for a helicopter flight along the Great Ocean Road and over the 12 Apostles. It is an absolute amazing experience. http://www.12apostleshelicopters.com.au/

you can also fly in a tiger moth plane, with an open cockpit.

What ever you do for her, i am sure she’ll love it
