Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort and Spa

Posted by admin on March 3rd, 2010 and filed under spa resorts | 18 Comments »

This is where we stayed for 9 nights. It was awesome and we definitely recommend this place over ANYWHERE else on Phi Phi Island. It may cost a little more than the other resorts on Phi Phi Island but trust me, it’s worth it! Since Thai $ is weaker for most countries, you’ll save a lot in the long run for little things like gifts, snacks, tours and services. Kap khun kap Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort and Spa!

Anyone know of a decent spa resort in Detroit or the surrounding area?

Posted by admin on March 3rd, 2010 and filed under spa resorts | 3 Comments »

My sister, sister in law, mom, and myself want to go to a spa for a weekend. We live in Bay City, MI and want to get away, but don’t want to spend a ton of money. Any other ideas for a girls weekend away would be great too. Thanks for the help!

ann arbor has some nice places to stay – webers inn and there is a day spa – ithink called the john robert. you also have the troy area with the estee lauder and i’m sure some others by now, day spa. persoanlly i like ann arbor – there is an apple orchard with ltos of fun things this time of year and it’s kind of a bonding time too. there are jazz clubs right off main street the bird of paradise – just tons of things to do in all types of venues. even just walking downtown and people gazing is a blast. they have a great chain mongolian bbq that is super when you have varied tastes — can you tell i’m a fan of A2!!

I am looking for someone who has been to the El Dorado Royal Spa Resort, Riviera Maya, Mexico?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under spa resorts | 2 Comments »

I am planning on booking this hotel for my honeymoon and I have read many great reviews on the food. However it looks extremely fancy, which is fine for me… but not for my fussy fiance. Basically I am looking for someone who has been to give me examples of the chicken dishes that may have been on offer during your stay. Are the staff willing to adjust the dish for you (for example make it quite plain). What kinds of snacks are available during the day?

Thanks guys!

The food is great there! I don’t know about basic chicken dishes, b/c it’s been a couple of years since we were there, but you can get some plainer food. I don’t know if they’ll "adjust" the food or not, but normally they are pretty accommodating. When I was there, you could get burgers and nachos and such during the day, or they have a health food restaurant with some smaller sandwiches, fruit, and snacks.

What is the title of the short story about a man and a death/suicide spa?

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under spa resorts | 2 Comments »

It’s about a man who, upon deciding that he wanted to commit suicide, suddenly received a letter from an organization offering to help him in this. It was a sort of spa/resort where they help people commit suicide. The "guests" stay at the resort until the time they are "killed". They are not to know when this will happen.
At the "spa", the man met a woman, supposedly a fellow client, who helped him regain his enthusiasm for life. However, the "spa" would not let him withdraw his request.

If he was a real brave man he should not been alive to ask this question .U Can not stop that . he will try to make others understand that he is going to com met ing suicide..he is very cove rd to ask help from others . asking help is bad but getting help is good. that is why he is telling that.

What reputable spas/resorts are in Palm Springs?

Posted by admin on February 24th, 2010 and filed under spa resorts | 4 Comments »

Looking for recommendations and suggestions on the different spas/resorts in Palm Springs. I’ll be treating family members to a spa experience as part of my birthday celebration. Seeking a resort with a spa, preferably, although I can opt for separate accomodations.

Look into the La Quinta Resort, in La Quinta (just outside Palm Springs). Wonderful spa, five star restaurant, gardens. Lovely. I think there’s a Marriot resort somewhere out there that has a spa attached as well.

any reccomendations for hotels, resorts, spa in Napa Valley?
