Aside from the usual massages after a grueling round of golf with their buddies, grooms are making appointments for body wraps that can help slim them down for their wedding day. Grooms have become more conscious about the appearance of their skin that many of them are opting for deep-pore cleansing facials and even microdermabrasion to look as radiant as the bride. Finally, grooms are not only thinking of their appearance during the wedding, but after the wedding as well. Waxing services for the back, chest and eyebrows have become commonplace for many grooms because they want to look neat during their honeymoon, usually in some place tropical.
Spa services for grooms start from $25 (for eyebrow shaping) to $85 for facials and massages. Body treatments, such as the body wraps, can start from $15 to $140. Suddenly slimmer Day Spa also offers packages for the groom and his attendants. I can find what is offered in the spa on the carnival cruise but not the prices. Anyone know the price range or a website where I can find an estimate?
You won’t find the prices because they change daily. When you get on board they will charge you an arm and a leg but toward the end of the cruise, they’ll just charge you an arm. Don’t do it. Go to a local spa before you go. You’ll get better quality of service at a cheaper rate. The packages onboard range from $80.00 (fifteen minutes, SERIOUSLY) to over $150.00. I have known her since she was 3yrs old and I’d love to take her somewhere that she wouldn’t normally take herself. She loves bushwalking, spa packages and fine food and wine. We both live in Melbourne and I’m willing to drive somewhere.
Dayelsford/Hepburn Springs- I go there whenever I need to re-charge. There are plenty of accomodation/spa package options. Plus there is a great range of local food and win on offer.

The Venetian spa is operated by Canyon Ranch, one of the best spas in the world and frequented by the likes of Martha Stewart, Oprah, etc.
The Venetian location expanded in summer of 2008 and is the largest spa in the world (130,000sf). It’s pricey but one of the only places in Vegas where you will get a true spa experience instead of just a day spa type thing. They also don’t try to upsale you which makes a really pleasant experience.
