I want to get my girlfriend a massage/spa package for xmas…any reccomendations? affordable price please…thanks

Also there is a spa inside the Watermark Hotel which is very good. It can be pricey.
It all depends on your price range. There are many spas in SA but some can be scary.
Spa D’sante also has three locations and the staff is great.

I tried out a new spa and the masseuse was very good. I will go back, but the spa is pushing for me to obtain a "package" where I would save money if I prepay for a certain amount of visits. I think this would be good, but I’m concerned if the spa closed I’ld lose the money. What do you think?

Does the spa seem like they are going to go out of business? Are they busy? I’m sure if you enjoyed it enough to buy a package, others would too. If you are very worried about it, I would ask them if there are any refunds. I think as long as you use your package in a timely manner, it will be well worth your money, and you’ll be saving some too! If anything, they wouldn’t close over night anyway, they would probably give fair warning and encourage everyone to use up their packages while they could!

My wife and I are spending a weekend away from Sydney for our anniversary and I wanted to surprise her with a spa gift voucher. She loves being pampered, so I’m after a really luxurious place that does great massages, facials and possibly a big package type of thing. I might even join her for a couples treatment. She’s a fan of hot stone massage and so am I. Not certain where we’re staying yet, if you’ve got any suggestions for a nice resort or hotel I’d love em!

Hi, I’ve used the Jhalu Day Spa a couple of times when we’ve stayed at the Mantra resort, Ettalong Beach. I could definitely recommend it (I noticed a few other people did too on truelocal). The first time I went I had a Deluxe Facial which was one of the best facials I’ve ever had. The second time hubby and I each had a Jhalu Melt which included a body scrub, infrared sauna and massage – and the whole time we were together in a couples room. I know they sell spa gift vouchers because I bought one online for my friend. By the way I can also recommend the Mantra Ettalong resort – why not stay there then you only have to stagger back to your room after your relaxing treatment at the day spa?

Bentley’s self-serve coin-operated dog wash and grooming spa is located in Plano, Texas. There are two heights of tubs to accommodate any size dog.Shampoo, conditioner, water, aprons, and two speeds of forced air blow dryer are provided. Tubs are waist high so you don’t hurt your back. We are going to the spa next week and I want to know if it is worth upgrading to the evening package which includes a treatment, supper and a gift. I want to know if the gift is worth it so if anyone knows what sort of gift you get that would be great

I’d like to put together a gift basket filled with toiletries, spa supplies, and other things. How do I package the gift basket properly so that I don’t have things falling out of the basket and moving around when it’s shipped to its destination?

First of all, you don’t want things in the basket shifting around while in shipment. To keep things in their place, use styrofoam or floral foam to act as spacers and you can even push the edges of some items into the foam so that it stays put better. To hide the foam, cover it with dried moss of whatever color you like, or even thin shreds of colored paper. Many products are available to use for that purpose. You can use staples to hold the moss or paper to the foam. Also, try to use baskets without handles since the handles can get in the way when you go to shrink wrap your basket. Ideally, you want the shrink wrap to go directly over the items in the basket rather than over a handle. It works better that way. Use as much of the shrink wrap as is necessary, heavy items may need more than light items. Finally, ship in a box that has plenty of room on all sides so that packing peanuts will completely surround the basket. After all, if you’re going to work that hard on a nice gift basket, you want to make sure its well protected. Have fun making your baskets!
