I don’t care about cost as I would rather overpay for a good one than get a cheap one that doesn’t do what I want to. Conair can’t take salts or soaps neither can brookstone..running out of options need your help
So its an at home pedicre foot spa for me. I would like any ones that you know of that can have salts ands soaps in it. As some of the top line ones can’t handle soaps or salts

Well soap makes your skin dry and uncomfortable and normal salt is just going to damage your hair. And you don’t have to buy expensive things just buy normal once!!!!!

i was wondering because i heard you can go into labor from it. i realize i’m probably not far enough along to matter yet, but i wanted to double check =)

Sure, a pedicure will not affect your pregnancy.

There is an article I found that suggests you should have them avoid your ankles if they are giving you a massage because of a small chance of pressure points there triggering contractions. Personally, I don’t buy that, but you can have them avoid doing that just in case if you want to. The only other thing it mentions as a concern is fumes from the polish they might use on your feet. Most places are going to be ventilated well enough, so I really don’t think it should be a concern for you. Other than that, no problems with getting a pedicure.

I am looking for a full service days spa (not a salon), where I can really relax for a few hours. I need massage, facial and a spa pedicure.

Try the new Spa Lux at 91&Memorial. It is a gorgeous spa. They won an award from the Day Spa Magazine for the style. And, you’ll probably have the same type of experience like if you are at some ocean resort. It’s not a salon. It’s a real day spa.

My best advice is try a beauty school in the area and ask for a senior (Someone almost done with there schooling) That’s usually the cheapest way to go. You can also ask them who’s doing the best in there class.
