queenslands fraser island stay at king fisher bay resort they have rooms and villas with spas,heaps of things to do and see.the purest dingos in austrailia walk the beach you see them often they are lovley.one of their pools is a swim up cocktail pool.we just got back for under $3000 we stayed in two bedroom villa with spa on balcony for 4 nights,brought food and presents,dolpin cruise,15 min helicopter ride,hired a dingy and snorkel gear for 4 hours,went on an all day beauty spots tour taking you by couch to several top locations to name a few swim at lake mecenzie pure rain water cought over hundrends of years this has white sand 98% quarts,wet rain forest,morning tea and all you can eat lunch provided,4wd drive on the bus down the beach,the coloured sands,swim at eli creek fresh water lake running in to the beach,running a ship wreck.whilst on the beach took a sea plane ride its the only spot in australia where a sea plane takes of and lands on the beach.i honestly recomend this as a must do holiday,im going back next year in july for the whale watching,the people are so friendly in the area,

I already have a BS in business adminstration management. Looking to find further education in this field, I know there is hospitality management but I was looking for more spa/resort specfic. Is there a spa mangement program?

Seems to me that if you have a degree in BA then you should be all set. Save that money you would be spending on tuition to buy the spa. Getting two bachelor degrees is about as useful as two high school diplomas.

What exactly is spa pedicure? I have never done pedicure. I need to know what they do to your feet other than painting it. Thanks!

Every salon is different. A spa pedicure typically puts a mask on your legs and feet, scrubs off calluses, lotions and massages, file, shape and paint. A quick pedi is usually just a file and paint. Then there are various in between services, just ask your salon. IT’s absolutely amazing. I crave them because it’s so relaxing and your feet look great and you feel clean and put together.

Also consider Mesquite . . around an hour drive from Las Vegas.

Personal spa treatments are my favorite thing to do on the weekends. Masques and scrubs for the face and hair are easy to make, and all the stuff you need is in the kitchen!!!

1. Mashing an avocado and working it into your hair is FABULOUSLY moisturizing. You can add honey for more moisture, but it’s just fine by itself.

2. My favorite body scrub is a cup of brown sugar mixed into a cup and a half of olive or coconut oil. It sloughs off dead skin and gives you a pretty flush.

3. To make your feet uber soft, slather them with lotion and keep your socks on overnight. Better than pedicures!

4. Lips will also get super soft if you scrub them with the olive oil/brown sugar mix.

5. Work a few tablespoons of olive oil into your hair. Its astringent properties sop up oil (even though that seems counter productive) and moisturize healthily.

6. Pineapple and tomato are both great for zits (even though that for sure doesn’t sound very good!!)

Hi: The Pragati Resort offers 3 types of massage – sports for athletes mainly, swedish & deep tissue. Swedish is my favorite and most relaxing as it’s slow lighter than deep tissue, but deep tissue is good if you have a physical issue like bad knees. I am looking for a travel package for a mother (42) and a daughter (16). Preferably in a nice hotel with a spa and such. But there needs to be some adventure/exploring. Like in the rainforests or to historical sites (aztecs, myans, etc). It would also be really cool if there was a sort of flea market type thing. Does anyone know of anything like this or any all inclusive packages to south/central america?

Does it have to be all-inclusive? I booked my last Argentina vacation with a travel agent who got us the hotel, transfers, international flights, domestic flights (we went to Iguazu, Buenos Aires, and Mendoza) within Argentina, and a few tours. The rest we just paid for ourselves when we got there. If you google travel agent and the area you want to go to (like Peru, Colombia, etc.), you’ll find ones that specialize and can book almost everything for you in advance.
